There is room for all learners in sports at Alfriston College. Being part of a sports team gives learners the opportunity to pursue sporting excellence, be resilient, take supported risks, b and develop life-long connections and healthy habits.
In both summer and winter sports seasons more than 10 sporting codes are available. Unless specified below, junior and senior, boys and girls teams are available.

Beyond school representative teams, learners are encouraged to be active through lunchtime sports, sport free-play afternoons and “give it a go” events.
In addition to the sports listed above, learners are expected to participate in the annual whole school Inter-Whaanau Sports Day in February and the Junior School Inter-Whaanau sports day in December to build connections with peers and Whaanau spirit.
Sport Success Awards are held annually to acknowledge learners’ and volunteers’ effort, progress, and excellence. Blues Awards are presented to our highest national achievers.
